3. Next General Walworth Society General Society Meeting Thursday 18th June 7pm.


Our next General Walworth Society meeting will be held (virtually) on Thursday 18th June at 7pm. We have two confirmed topics that we will be covering. Cllr Johnson Situ, Cabinet Member for Growth, Development and Planning, will be speaking about the current position in relation to the Walworth Town Hall redevelopment and the discussions with General Projects as well as any other matters involving regeneration and planning.


Cllr Richard Livingstone the Cabinet Member whose portfolio includes Climate Change will be also be attending and will be able to answer questions about this and other topics at that meeting.


In spite of COVID-19 Southwark Council is continuing to develop the borough's climate strategy. They have now set up an online engagement link and are keen to get views from around Southwark. The link can be found by clicking here or go to www.southwark.gov.uk/yourclimatethoughts.

5. Pembroke House - Live From The Emergency Distribution Hub.


Join Pembroke House on a live video call from the distribution hub to get a glimpse into this frontline work, meet some of the amazing staff and volunteers making it all happen, and hear from Executive Director, Mike Wilson, on how organisations like Pembroke House are playing a vital role in coordinating the response across Southwark and further afield.
